House Rules

General Conduct

• Treat the apartment as your own home
• Quiet hours: 22:00 - 08:00 (building regulation)
• No parties, events, or gatherings without prior written consent
• Maximum occupancy: As per booking (no extra overnight guests)

Smoking

• Strictly NO smoking inside the apartment
• Smoking permitted on balcony/terrace only
• Please use ashtray provided
• Violation: €200 cleaning fee + possible early termination

Guests & Visitors

• Only registered guests may stay overnight
• Day visitors allowed until 22:00 (notify us in advance)
• No unregistered overnight guests
• Keys/access codes not to be shared with non-guests

Check-in / Check-out

• Check-in: 13:00 - 20:00 (self check-in via lockbox after hours)
• Check-out: by 10:00 sharp
• Late check-out: €30/hr (subject to availability, request by 09:00)
• Return keys to lockbox / leave on counter

Waste & Recycling (Rome Regulations)

Rome has strict waste separation. Please use the bins provided:

• Blue:Paper & Cardboard
• Yellow:Plastic & Metal
• Brown:Organic/Food Waste
• Grey/Black:General/Non-recyclable
• Glass: Separate bin near entrance
• Do NOT put waste in wrong bins - fines apply to building

Water & Energy Conservation

• Turn off AC/heating when windows open
• Turn off lights & appliances when leaving
• Reasonable water usage
• Close windows when AC/heating on

Appliances & Amenities

• Dishwasher: Run only when full
• Washing machine: Use provided detergent only
• Oven/Stove: Clean spills immediately
• Coffee machine: Descale if prompted
• Do not use metal utensils in non-stick pans

Safety & Security

• Lock door when leaving (self-locking)
• Do not prop entrance door open
• Report any safety issues immediately
• Emergency numbers: 112 (EU), 118 (Ambulance), 115 (Fire)
• Fire extinguisher: Under kitchen sink

Prohibited

• Illegal activities
• Commercial use (filming, photoshoots without permission)
• Subletting or transferring reservation
• Moving furniture without permission
• Pets (unless pre-approved in writing)

Damages & Fees

• Report any damage immediately - no penalty for accidental breakage
• Lost keys: €50 (lockbox) / €150 (building key)
• Excessive cleaning required: €50-150
• Smoking inside: €200 + early termination
• Damage deposit may be charged via Stripe for significant issues
